A list of all academic course work taken at the University of Southern Maine is
called an academic transcript. Transcripts show a complete list of courses,
credits obtained, grades and degrees earned. There are two types of transcripts
issued, an
official copy and an unofficial copy. Both types have identical information
except the official copy contains the embossed seal of the University. There is
no charge for transcripts. Transcripts are processed in the order in which they
are received. The process for obtaining transcripts is as follows:
Make your request to us in writing. Your
signature is required for the release of the
transcripts.
