General Instructions for early registration for continuing students allows students to register through the internet on a priority basis during pre-assigned dates.
Make an appointment to see your advisor as soon as possible. Contact your academic department if you do not know your advisor's name. Undeclared or students admitted with conditions should contact Advising Services.
- Registration for Fall 2008 will occur in a new student data base (MaineStreet). Students will be allowed to start registering on a day determined by the number of earned credit hours. (see schedule: http://www.usm.maine.edu/reg/Registrationforfall2008.pdf)
- Late February you will begin receiving a series of emails from “MaineStreet updates” outlining the procedures needed to register using this new system.
- To see how many credits you have now earned, access WebDsis at: https://beech.unet.maine.edu/dsis/pls/menu.logon_scrn
- Prepare a tentative schedule and/or questions before meeting your advisor.
- Before students are able to register, most will need to obtain a PIN (personal identification number) from their advisor or academic department.
