The Office of the Registrar supports the instructional mission of the university by providing key services to students, faculty, academic administrative departments, and to the public.

Services include course record management, classroom assignment, final exam scheduling, academic record creation and maintenance, student registrations, grade processing, transcript issuance, student and administrative policies, student and course information system operation,   the dissemination of accurate, timely and complete information, and service on the University committees.

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for the overall management of student records, the associated database, and for ensuring compliance with FERPA.  As manager of the database, the Registrar is also responsible for preparing and submitting federal IPEDS reports.

The Office is also responsible for recording such critical functions as academic honors, sanctions, and dismissals. The Office of the Registrar is located in Gorham in Bailey Hall (780-5230). Registration services are available in the Student Billing Office in Portland at Payson Smith Hall (780-5233) and at Lewiston-Auburn College (753-6500).
