Awards & Recognition

Please join the Professional Staff Senate, Rosa Redonnett, Michelene Decrow, and Robin Day as we invite nominations for the 2008 Professional Staff Awards. Attached you will find the nomination procedures and selection criteria for all three awards. Please review them carefully and select the award that best represents the staff member you are interested in nominating for recognition.

The Professional Staff Distinguished Award has been awarded since 1989 and some of the recent recipients include: Steven Rand, 1992; Rosa Redonnett, 1994; Kathleen Bouchard, 1995; Susan Campbell, 1998; Robert Caswell, 2000; Ira Hymoff, 2001; Al Bean, 2002; Roger Philippon, 2003; Thomas Downing, 2004; Julie Cameron, 2005; Nancy Whitehouse, 2006; and Beth Higgins, 2007.

The Emerging Professional Award has been awarded since 1990 and some of the recent recipients include: Kim Turner, 2000; Paul Dexter, 2001; Shannon Gouzie, 2004; Robin Audesse, 2005; Iris Guillemette, 2006; and Ross Hickey, 2007.

The Divisional Excellence Award has been awarded since 2001 and recognizes one individual from each division each year. The 2007 recipients are: Jim Kessler, Division of Information and Technology; and Crystal Wakem, Division of Academic Affairs.
