Richard R. Campbell
- Chief Financial Officer
Dick Campbell became USM’s chief financial officer in January 2007. This marked Dick’s return to USM where he had held a variety of positions in student services and finance between 1972 and 1998. From 1998 through 2006, he served as vice president at the University of Maine at Augusta. Dick is responsible for USM’s finances, facilities, campus environmental safety, student financial aid, and registrar.
Dick has an active history of community service. He is a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Maine Board of Directors, vice-chair of the Town of Cumberland Community Education and Recreation Advisory Board, and a coach in the YES for Youth basketball program. Previous service includes leadership positions in the South Portland Community Development Committee, South Portland Neighborhood Housing, and various professional organizations.
Dick is a 1973 and 1993 graduate of the University of Southern Maine.
