For situations requiring immediate response from Police, Fire, or Ambulance

U.S.M. Public Safety will contact all necessary on and off campus emergency response personnel

Call Lewiston Police

Campus Phones Dial: 9-9-1-1

All other Phones Dial: 207-513-3001

Call Lewiston Police FIRST then notify the Dean 207-753-6594 or 6594 from campus phone

Other Serious Situations

Situations that may not require immediate action to preserve life or property

 These situations do require swift action by the University, a continuity of care, and may involve emergency responders at some point.  If in doubt call U.S.M. Public Safety; if on the Lewiston Campus call Lewiston PD and the Dean’s Office.  

 The contact will ensure that information about resources, accommodations, and complaint procedures are provided.
