Prior Learning Assessment

Course Challenge Examinations

Challenge Examinations are developed by faculty members to match the content of specific courses, and may be written and/or oral. These tests are available only to matriculating USM students. They are used selectively in some, but not all, departments. Contact the Prior Learning Assessment Office to check on current availability of the challenge exam process for your individual needs or email the PLA Director for more information.
