Professor C. George Caffentzis

My Curriculum Vitae

I received my Undergraduate degree from the City College of the City University of New York in 1968. I completed my Ph.D. at Princeton University in 1978, with a Dissertation entitled "Does Quantum Mechanics Necessitate a Revolution in Logical Theory?" My areas of interest in philosophy are the Philosophy of Money and the Philosophy of Science and Technology.

Before teaching at USM, I also taught courses at the University of Calabar in Nigeria (1983-1987), Bentley College (1980-1983), Millersville State College (1979-1980), Brooklyn College of CUNY, and Haverford College (1971-72). I am a member of the Radical Philosophy Association and my favorite Philosopher is Plato.

PHI 205 - Symbolic Logic, PHI 240 - Political Philosophy, and HON 201 - Scientific Revolutions and Critiques
