USM Participates in Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair and Expo

Meet us at this year’s Hiring Our Heroes Job Fair and Expo sponsored by IDEXX Laboratory, the Southern Midcoast Chamber of Commerce and Southern MidCoast CareerCenter
The Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber is proud to partner with the national “Hiring Our Heroes” program to help veterans and military spouses find meaningful employment in our local communities.
Employers representing the healthcare, banking, manufacturing, education, criminal justice, technology and other industries will be attending. Some of the employers recruiting at the fair include Bath Iron Works, Bonney Staffing, Spurwink Services, and our event sponsor, IDEXX Laboratories.
Each hour local experts will offer seminars focused on how to find, apply, and secure a job, as well as address the systemic issues that veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses face in their search for employment.
