WHAT IS THE PRAXIS I EXAM?
The PRAXIS I exam, created by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), must be completed successfully by individuals who are applying for professional certification, and by many for program admissions in higher education.
The PRAXIS I exam, also known as the Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST), contains components dealing with reading, mathematics and writing.

WHAT IS PRAXIS I PRACTICE ONLINE?
The PLATO Simulated Pre-Professional Skills Test offers both a realistic rehearsal for the Praxis I exam, as well as the assessment and development learners need to improve in the areas where their skills are lacking. Because this is an online, Internet-based tool, learners have the convenience of anytime/anywhere access, making it far easer to fit this aspect of their training into their crowded schedules.
The PLATO Simulated Pre-Professional Skills Test can take the learner from general to item specific practice based on the needs of the individual.
SCHEDULE OF START DATES
Participants who register between the 1st and 15th of each month will be scheduled to start 30 days of online practice on the 1st day of the following month. Registrations received between the 15th and 30th of each month will be scheduled to start on the 15th day of the following month.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Step One
a) Register for online preparation for the Praxis I exam through the PDC. (See Registration Form)
b) PLATO website log in information will be sent to you with your confirmation.
Step Two
a) Access the internet through any computer with an internet connection.
b) Log in to the PLATO website.
Step Three
a) Take the Praxis I practice exam as often as you like during the thirty day period.
