This course provides training in knowledge and skills for the use of response to intervention (RTI) methods in school settings. Students learn how to select and use intervention and assessment methods for three distinct instructional levels. Through readings, discussion, and practice students will develop the skills necessary to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive RTI programs in school settings.

Completion of this course qualifies towards Maine Special Education Certification
