With examples, planning and implementation steps as resources, you will plan a unit, for any subject, in which your students work to solve a relevant problem. Assessment strategies, reasoning skills, scaffolding structures to ensure success, and elements of problem-based learning, expeditionary learning and service learning will be discussed. The unit will forward your students' achievement of curriculum content standards, critical thinking, communications, creativity/innovation, interdependent learning, self-directed learning and appropriate use of technology.
