Office of Research Compliance

The ORC is responsible for oversight of five committees;

• Institutional Review Board (IRB) for the protection of human research participants
• Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) for the protection of vertebrate animals used at USM
• Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)
• Institutional Privacy Committee (IPC)
• Radiation Safety Committee (RSC)
