Kathy Tombarelli is a Research Assistant II at the Catherine E. Cutler Institute for Child and Family Policy at the Muskie School of Public Service, University of Southern Maine. She is currently working on the Muskie School's VAWA Measuring Effectiveness Initiative project, funded by the Office on Violence Against Women. She is originally from the west and has lived in several states including Texas, California and Washington. She attended the University of Southern Maine, Portland where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. She is currently enrolled in a graduate program at the Muskie School of Public Service, working on Master's degree in Public Policy and Management.
