The USM Wind Ensemble, and All That Jazz! So, where can you go to hear jazz studies majors playing next to classical instrumental performance majors, sitting next to vocal performance majors, sitting next to composers, and with lots of music education majors in between? The USM Wind Ensemble / Jazz Combo Concert. PLUS you will get to hear, guitar, accordion, soprano saxophone, piano and more---plus "Mack the Knife."
At the USM School of Music in Gorham, of course!
The USM Wind Ensemble is directed by Peter Martin. The USM Jazz Combo will feature their coach, Barry Saunders, as a saxophone soloist.
Tickets are $6 General, $3 seniors, students, USM alumni and employees, reservations and at the door.
