USM Graduate Showcase Recital
The USM School of Music is proud to present a showcase recital of graduate students on Friday, April 12 at 8 p.m. in Corthell Concert Hall on the USM Gorham campus.
Admission is free.
The program will include Mark Rossnagel, baritone, accompanied by Derek Herzer, piano, performing three pieces by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). Aban Zirikly, violin and Leah Neuchiller, piano, will perform a sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1826). Jazmin DeRice, mezzo-soprano, will perform a vocalise of Nicolai Medtner (1880-1951) accompanied by Derek Herzer, piano. Then Herzer will perform a solo improvisation by Medtner, and Idyll by Glazunov. In addition to these, we have word there will also be a popular jazz combo on the program.
