Chamber Music

Students may form chamber music ensembles of three or more registered students (duets are approved in certain situations) for credit, and coached by a faculty member. Student personnel and faculty coaches for specific chamber ensembles are not necessarily on-going from semester to semester, giving students ample opportunity to more fully explore the study and performance of chamber music in all its variety.

Each year in the spring semester, coached chamber groups may audition for the annual Chamber Music Awards Concert, one of the department's ways of honoring excellence in student performance.
