Professional degree leading to teacher certification in music, K-12; three concentrations: vocal, instrumental, or combined

Bachelor of Music in Performance
Professional degree with intensive study on the major instrument. Concentrations available in one of the applied music areas listed below

• Jazz Studies
  Professional degree with intensive study in jazz and classical performance

• Musical Theatre
  Professional degree with intensive study in music and musical theatre performance; including training in acting and dance (offered in conjunction with the Department of Theatre)

• Piano Pedagogy
  Professional degree with intensive study in piano teaching

In addition a minor in music (20 credit hours) is offered for any qualified baccalaureate student.
