Jenny Lynd Robinson, a native of Belfast Maine and now living in the Portland area has performed extensively in Southern Maine. She has performed as soprano soloist with the PORT Opera Young Artist Program, Portland Symphony Orchestra, the Oratorio Chorale, the Chorale Art Society, the Atlantic Chamber Orchestra, Portland Community Chorus, Lincoln Arts Festival Chorus and the PORT Opera Chorus.  Jenny is a 2007 graduate of the University of Memphis with a Masters in Voice Performance. 

While in Memphis, Jenny had the chance to work with many notable people including Giovanna Maresta, stage director for La Scala, Charlie Reiker, artistic manager for the MET for over 30 years and Mignon Dunn, opera singer.  She also had the chance to sing La Boheme (Mimi) and be involved in the productions of Don Giovanni, Albert Herring and The Marriage of Figaro.  

Jenny was a 1997and 2003 recipient of the Lillian Nordica Award and the Viola Vestal award given by the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1998. She has received first place awards from the Boston and Maine divisions of NATS voice competitions throughout the years. Jenny is currently working part time at USM as a voice teacher while continuing her own vocal studies as well as working in downtown Portland, ME in the investment field.
