"CreateMaine" entrepreneurship event for everyone
Prizes, networking, inspiration. Free and open to the public. A collaborative venture, the USM School of Music hosts an entrepreneurs event, not just for musicians, but for all creative people. Come listen to three world-class entrepreneurs share their stories and adventures! Then go out and make your ideas real.
Meet Leigh Kellis of Portland's morning sensation The Holy Donut; Heather Chandler of Westbrook's environmentally friendly publication The Sunrise Guide; and Kai Adams of everyone's favorite Sebago Brewing Company based in Gorham.
Creative people come from all disciplines, and all walks of life. Even so, when successful entrepreneurs tell their stories, we can relate and learn.
This event is part of Maine Entrepreneurship Week, hosted by the USM School of Music, and co-presented with the USM Department of Art, USM Department of Theatre, USM Department of Environmental Science, the USM School of Business, with support from the College of Science, Technology, and Health; the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Science; Boyle Associates; and Michael R. Stevenson, provost.
