- Imagine owning this handmade quilt of
silks and velvets. Purples, golds, reds, blues - jewel colors in a jewel
of a piece! If we didn't have its provenance dating it from the
mid-nineteenth century, which will be presented to the winner of this
gorgeous piece, one would swear that it was just recently fashioned - so
perfect is its condition. This quilt has been donated by Susanna Adams,
in whose family it has spent over one-hundred loving years.
