Thomas Moore to Speak at USM

April 26, 2005

Thomas Moore, the Roman Catholic theologian, psychologist and writer, is speaking at the University of Southern Maine Woodbury Campus Center Amphitheater at 12 noon, Thursday, April 28, in the Woodbury Campus Center Amphitheater on USM's Portland campus. His talk is free and open to the public.

Moore is the author of "Care of the Soul" and "The Re-Enchantment of Everyday Life," among other titles.

Moore is currently working on a book that grew out of a lecture he gave on "Finding Your Life Work." The book will focus on the role of jobs, avocations, training, successes, failures, good and bad influences, and a spiritual vision for making sense of one's life.
