Alumni Association Holds Annual Meeting

January 4, 2005

The growth of USM's graduate programs will be highlighted at the 2005 annual meeting of the USM Alumni Association, scheduled from 4 to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, in the University Events Room of the USM Glickman Family Library, Portland. The event is free and open to all USM alumni and guests.

Keynote speaker Mary Sloan, director of the USM Office of Graduate Admissions, will discuss the university's 25 graduate degree programs that are offered in a range of liberal arts and professional fields. USM President Richard L. Pattenaude also is scheduled to update alumni and guests on university plans.

The USM Alumni Association has nearly 30,000 active members, including a total of 22,518 who live in each of Maine's 16 counties
