News ReleasesUSM Alumni Elect New LeadersMay 9, 2005 David Levesque of Newcastle has been elected president of the University of Southern Maine Alumni Association. Levesque, who earned his M.B.A. from USM in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 1997, is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, serving on the Board of Governors and as chair of the Trust & Estates Section. He also is a member of the American Bar Association. Robin Mullins of Windham is the association's new vice president. Mullins is a benefits supervisor at Hannaford Bros. Co. She earned her B.A. in education in 1991 and her master's in education in 1998, both from USM. She is a former member of the Adult Education Graduate Society and has participated in several United Way fund-raising campaigns. Other members of the USM Alumni Association Board of Directors are: David G. Allen '75 of Portland, branch manager of the University Credit Union in Portland; Kevin Anderson '87 of Portland, a senior health benefit analyst for Hannaford Bros. Co.; Gene Boyington '89 of Freeport, a broker for Century 21; Spencer Droggitis '98, a management analyst at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard; Jonathan Graffius '98, president of the Art Alumni Association; Peter Harrison '91 of Saco, a principal at Young School in Saco; Martin J. Joyce III '68, '70, '72 of Scarborough, a partner in Advest, Inc.; Theresa Jordan '93 of Scarborough, owner and president of Jordan Maritime Industries, Inc., and Jordan Marine, Inc.; Paul C. Kapothanasis '82 of Westbrook, treasurer of K. Brothers, Inc., in Westbrook; Ann Knowles '75 of Yarmouth, a retired teacher; Karen Oak '66, '82 of Scarborough, a retired teacher; Ted Pemberton '68, '80 of Yarmouth, an employee of Pemberton and Associates in Portland; Steve Puleo '97, '99, a community planner in South Portland; Sandra Hamel Rivard '04 of Brunswick, a trained hospital chaplain; Bruce Roullard '84 of Gorham, a senior loan officer at Allied Home Mortgage Capital Corporation in Gorham; Sally Serunian '76 of Portland, an employee of the Portland Public School System; and Sheila Stovall '01, a field research analyst for UNUMProvident. The University of Southern Maine Alumni Association has some 31,000 members,
