This issue includes essays with subjects as varied as the Somalis of Lewiston, how those from away fare in state politics, Maine's creative economy, and whether New Hampshire's Old Man in the Mountain was ever really a natural wonder.

Poetry, short works of fiction, and black and white representations of local artist Deborah Randall's paintings and University of Maine Professor of Photography Michael Grillo's photographs round out the spring 2005 issue.
