Pathways to Higher Education Reception Honors Workers Striving for Higher Ed

Eighteen students who are taking classes as part of the work force development program, "Pathways to Higher Education," will be honored at a reception scheduled from 3-5 p.m., today, August 6, at the McKernan Center at Southern Maine Community College.

Pathways to Higher Education is a collaborative effort by Barber Foods, Southern Maine Community College and the University of Southern Maine to prepare workers for college-level work and to start them on their way toward earning a degree.
