6th Annual Gorham Marketplace
Meet the reigning Miss Maine, measure how fast you can kick
a soccer ball, have your kids fingerprinted, and visit the
more than 100 exhibition booths at the Gorham Marketplace
2003. The annual event, showcasing products and services available
in the town of Gorham, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
Saturday, March 15, in the USM Field House, Gorham. Admission
if free and open to the public.
The Gorham Business & Civic Exchange event will also feature
performances by the Saccarappa Boys Band, the Maine Academy
of Gymnastics, demonstrations by students from the Greater
Portland School of Jukado and the Gorham Police dog. Gorham
Recreation will be there signing up students for baseball,
softball and summer camps.
Some 3000 local citizens attend each year. The marketplace
also features a food court, and a children's play area.
