USM’s WMPG Sixth Annual Bluegrass Spectacular 6:30 p.m, Monday, June 30

Some of the finest bluegrass talent in southern Maine will take the stage at the St. Lawrence Arts Center, Portland, for the 6th annual WMPG Bluegrass Spectacular on Monday, June 30.  The show begins at 6:30 (doors open at 6 p.m.). Proceeds from the Bluegrass Spectacular benefit WMPG at the University of Southern Maine.

The Jerks of Grass and The Grassholes will headline the show, with additional special guests to be announced soon.  The Bluegrass Spectacular will be emceed by WMPG’s own Blizzard Bob, host of the Wednesday morning “Blue Country” show.
