USM to Host Life Planning Retreat for Women

The University of Southern Maine Center for Continuing Education will host “Attracting the Life you Want,” a life planning retreat for women, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 at the Abromson Community Education Center on the Portland campus. The fee is $135 and includes morning refreshments and lunch. To register, call 780-5900 or visit http://www.usm.maine.edu/cce.
Women attending the retreat will look at what is and isn’t working in their lives to create a vision and action plan for the next three years. It is facilitated by Ruby Slippers, a division of Barton and Gingold. Facilitators include: Susanna Liller, who specializes in coaching, facilitation and conflict management; Amy Wood, Psy.D., who helps people live more creatively and passionately; and Creighton Taylor, whose humor, compassion and down-to-earth approach helps women to face the challenges they encounter.
