USM Hosts Gorham Marketplace
The 5th annual Gorham Marketplace, an event designed to showcase the products and services available in the town of Gorham, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 27, in the USM Field House, Gorham.
The event, which is sponsored by the Gorham Business & Civic Exchange, draws more than 100 Gorham exhibitors and some 3000 local citizens. The marketplace also features a food court and a children’s play area.
Local entertainment will include “The Flyers” from the Maine Academy of Gymnastics, a Hip-Hop group from the Dance Studio of Maine, a Jukado Martial Arts Demonstration, Centre of Movement Dancers, “I’m Alive,” a musical by Gorham’s Mike Nobel, Gordy Johnson and his band Refuge, an adult tap performance from the Dance Studio of Maine, a youth rock band and four cash prize drawings.
