Earth Day at USM

The Environmental Science Student Group of the University of Southern Maine will be hosting a celebration of Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 on USM's Gorham Campus, near the front of Bailey Hall.

A ceremonial tree planting will introduce the new Campus Arboretum at
12:15 p.m. There also will be displays in Bailey Hall of environmentally-sound ways to improve lifestyles on earth. There will be free food, drinks, and prizes under the big tent by the Rhino from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
