Lecture on Political Money and Reform

Tim Boggs, former senior vice president of global public policy at Time Warner Inc., will give a lecture at the University of Southern Maine on “Corporate Lobbying, Political Money, and Reform at the Turn of the New Century.”

The Muskie Public Policy Lecture, sponsored by USM’s Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service, will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 26 in the Moot Court Room of the Law School Building on USM’s Portland campus. It is free and open to the public.

As the official responsible for directing corporate government affairs and worldwide public policy operations for Time Warner, Boggs was an effective advocate on public policy matters involving the international media giant. Over nearly two decades at the center of Time Warner operations, he managed corporate strategy during a time of fundamental change in the media and the communications industry, and in the government policies that shape and direct it.

For more information on the lecture, contact Sondra Bogdonoff at the Muskie School at 780-4932.
