Amero Named to Muskie Fellowship Amero has been named a Muskie Public Policy Fellow, a position established in 1998 to attract individuals with distinguished records of public service who can share their expertise in classrooms and contribute to the school's research and public service activities. The first Policy Fellow was former Maine Speaker of the House Elizabeth Mitchell. "Jane's extensive background in development of education
policy at the local, state and regional levels will be an invaluable resource,
especially at a school with an interdisciplinary curriculum that strives
to balance theory and hands-on experience," said Robert L. Woodbury,
dean of the Muskie School. The Muskie School, as well as the College
of Education and Human Development, will be drawing on Jane's expertise
and interests. For more information, call 780-4430 or check out the Muskie Web site at www.muskie.usm.maine.edu |
