Music’s Seson of Lyght

Music’s Seson of Lyght The USM Music Department will host the 10th annual holiday benefit gala on Friday, December 1, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.at Brooks Student Center on the Gorham campus. "Seson of Lyght: A Madrigal Revel" will celebrate the 17th Century with a pre-dinner social, four-course meal and entertainment by USM music students and jester Randy Judkins. The gala, which is sponsored by Portland Volvo, raises money for scholarships for music students; cost is $75 per person.

In conjunction with the gala, 200 raffle tickets will be sold for 15 elegant gifts worth a total of $19,000, including a trip to Europe for two, a room-size oriental carpet, and artworks. Cost per raffle ticket is $100. Proceeds go to music scholarships. Call 780-5003.
