ORLANDO E. DELOGU, professor of law, was invited to
be a panelist at the Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute to
be held in Denver this October. His topic is "Recent Supreme
Court Decisions: Takings and Other Issues Related to Urban
Planning."
GARY GREEN, assistant professor of art, had his photography
exhibit, "Landscape Diary No. 3: Baxter Woods," on exhibit
at the City of Portland Parks and Recreation, this summer.
ALBERT S. KIRK III, associate professor of technology,
was selected to receive the Commission of Safety and Health
in the Maine Workplace 2003 Safety Education Award. The award
will be presented on Thursday, September 25, at the Maine
Safety and Health Conference Awards Recognition Day.
JENNIFER WRIGGINS, professor of law, had her article
"Rape, Racism, and the Rule of Law," originally published
in Vol. 6 of the Harvard Women's Law Journal (1983), reprinted
in "The Criminal Justice System and Women: Offenders, Prisoners,
Victims and Workers" (B.R. Price and N. Sokoloff, 2004).
DONALD ZILLMAN, Godfrey Professor of Law, had his
"2003 Supplement to Maine Tort Law" published in August.
