Mentor/ Mentee Program

Due to the small size of our state and number of institutions, it is
critical that we mentor our graduate students, new and mid-career
professionals on a variety of topics such as best practices, areas of
interest and new research. By being mentored graduate students can
network with professionals in other institutions, learn about their area
of interest and receive guidance in their job searching process. New
professionals can learn from more seasoned administrators about best
practices, get advice about complex and unique issues they are dealing
with, and prepare for the next step in their career. Mid-career
professionals in Maine are often thorn between staying in the state and
pursuing better career options in other locations and can be mentored by
senior administrators about how to create enriching new challenges and
broaden their scope of work.

If you would like to participate in the mentoring program, please fill out the
