These images are solely for the use of USM faculty and staff in developing web pages that promote USM to our internal and external communities such as students, business partners, prospective students, and the communities that surround us.

USM Web site editors now have the flexibility to select pre-approved images that have been prepared to work with our new Web CMS.They were produced to specifically fit in the Slideshow Slide top horizontal space of your Web CMS landing page. These images are provided solely for the use of USM faculty and staff.

Images should be downloaded from your browser window to your local hard drive or disc, and uploaded to your departmental Web folder.  Once you have downloaded an image do not re-save the file as a jpeg because this will reduce the quality of the image.

Please use ALT text when you include the image in your page, such as: Image of Student or Image of USM Campus. Every image and graphic that you include in your pages, whether from the Image Bank or not, should include ALT text.

Images have been categorized to make browsing easier and some may appear in more than one category. The Image Bank will continue to be updated so check back periodically.

Download Instructions 

1. Click Start Slideshow
2. Click View Image Details
3. When the image displays as a single image, double-click on the image so that it appears by itself in a new browser window
4. Control-Right Click (PC) or Control-Click (Mac)
5. Choose "Save Image..." to your computer desktop
