Alumni Association Golf Tourney Grows
The USM Alumni Association hosted its second annual golf tournament in June. The event drew about 60 golfers, more than twice the number who played in the first event, to the Gorham Country Club for a day of golf and an awards barbecue. Sponsors of the event included: Advest, Allied Mortgage, Bay Realty, Cumberland County Glass, Jordan Maritime Industries, LTD, Pemberton Associates, Peoples Heritage Bank, Prompto, Swardlick Marketing Group, and the University Credit Union. All proceeds went to the Alumni Association endowed scholarship for alumni and family members of alumni.
