Olive Draper Drew was unable to make the Gorham tea. She noted that she ran the Helen Gold 5K to support Parkinson's disease research and the Patriots Run to honor those who serve our nation. She notes that she has slowed down at 88! Keep it up, Olive!

Cecile Clement Rich was a dear friend of Elinor's. Elinor's daughter, Cecile, was named for Cecile Clement Rich and the two Ceciles keep in touch.
Vernon D. Stapleford of Boothbay Harbor wrote that he lost his sight last year, but is able to use the computer with magnification. He has written children's stories over the last three years (see Mainestream Spring 2002) and hopes to publish his stories in a book. He has sent weekly stories to many schools in New England for use in classrooms.
