Alumni Association Awards Scholarships

The Alumni Association awarded six $1,000 scholarships to deserving USM students for the 2007-2008 school year. Applicants must be related to a USM graduate, or be a previous graduate, carry a GPA of at least 3.0 and be taking at least 6 credits the semester they apply. Congratulations to the 2007 Alumni Association Scholarship recipients: Jessica Doughty, Carla Gill, Erin Kelley, Stephen Nelson, Amber Russo, and Mary Tietgens. Recipients were credited $500 each for both the fall 2007 and spring 2008 semesters. All USM scholarship recipients and donors were invited to be a part of the scholarship recognition ceremony held on September 27, 2007 in the Abromson Community Education Center on the Portland campus.
