In the Spring 2011 Graduate Studies Newsletter (pdf), graduate student Brenda Corthell raves about the English as a Second Language Certificate of Graduate Study program.
"Brenda feels the quality of instruction in USM’s ESL certificate program has been excellent and challenging. She has already started using her new knowledge to implement the SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) method of lesson planning and new teaching strategies in her social studies classroom."
