The Writing Center is pleased to announce our spring series of writing workshops! Workshops are free of charge and open to all students, staff, and faculty and advanced registration is not required. All workshops will be held in room 187 (at the new Writing Center in the LearningWorks wing).

Please mark the following dates/times in your calendars and syllabi.

• The USM LAC Writing Center will sponsor a workshop on incorporating transitions into student essays.  Facilitated by USM LAC senior Chase Hebert, this workshop will be offered twice: Tuesday, April 15th from 2-3 pm and Thursday, April 17th from 6-7 pm in the Writing Center now located in the LearningWorks area of the New Wing.  This workshop is appropriate for writers at all ability levels. Handouts will be provided.
