Transfer Agreements

USM/Lewiston-Auburn has established formal transfer or articulation agreements with Central Maine Community College, Kennebec Valley Community College, and the University of Maine at Augusta. Under these agreements, students who complete an associate degree in designated programs at these colleges can be accepted with advanced standing at USM's Lewiston-Auburn College and have their coursework apply toward the baccalaureate degree. These agreements facilitate the transfer of graduates from CMTC, KVTC, and UMA to USM/L-A by providing an academic and career ladder for those students who wish to further their education. Interested students should contact the Student Services Office at 753-6500 for more information. In addition, USM/L-A has an agreement to provide general academic courses to students enrolled in the Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing.
