LOS Minor/Concentration in Human Resource Administration
This minor in human resource administration is available to students majoring in leadership and organizational studies or other majors. Courses in this minor highlight the various knowledge and skills that will be useful for students intending to pursue their interests in the human resource field. This minor will allow students to develop an appreciation for the major issues facing those in human resource administration.
Students will be able to develop a greater understanding for the major issues in the field including: performance appraisal and compensation, union/management issues, diversity, legal issues, resolution of disputes, career training and development, and change. Courses examine issues that relate to private, public, and not-for-profit organizations.
The requirements for this minor include the completion of six required courses and one elective.
