To ensure success and provide a smooth transition to LAC,
new students are invited to attend our Student Orientation
Program. The orientations are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug.
25, 2004 from 5:15p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in room 170, and Thursday,
Aug. 26, 2004 from 9 a.m.to 12:15 p.m. in room 170. Please

online no later than August 20, 2004.
The Student Orientation is designed for all students new
to LAC or newly matriculated into one of our majors. We strongly
encourage you to attend even if you have been attending classes
here but have not yet participated in an orientation program.
You will have an opportunity to meet with faculty and staff,
get answers to your questions and learn more about what LAC
has to offer you. Most important, this will be a great time
to meet some of your new classmates!
New to this year's Orientation is the oportunity to enjoy
a free bus tour of the L-A community prior to the start of
our program on Wednesday the 25th of August. While the tour
will not be offered on Thursday, the 26th, a short video will
be presented by the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council.
You are welcome to bring a family member or a friend as a
guest. Please indicate if you will do so when you RSVP. If

If you have not yet registered for Fall classes and need
to meet with an advisor, please call us at the number above
to schedule an appointment with either Mary Sylvain-Leonas,
Margaret Park, or Iris Guillemette. They will be very happy
to assist you with your course selections and answer any other
questions you may have.
