International Language Workshops at
USM/L-A

French conversation group which meets every Wednesday morning
at the campus. The public is invited to participate. Seated

The International Students Organization of Lewiston Auburn
(ISOLA) and the Arts & Humanities Program at the University
of Southern Maine at Lewiston-Auburn are pleased to announce
the start of conversational language workshops in French
and Spanish. These will take place at the USM/LA campus
at 51 Westminster Street in Lewiston.
Reveil Francais meets in the Café L-A Wednesdays,
9:15 - 10 :15 a.m. These informal coffee house gatherings
are open to all students, faculty, staff, and community
members who speak French, understand French, or wish to
learn. The group will also have access to all the historical
videos and books in the Franco-American Collection which
is also located at USM/L-A. For more information, please

The Spanish Club will meet Thursdays and
Friday, 11:45 am to 1 pm in the upstairs lounge. Julia
Trujillo Luengo,
a native of the Canary Islands, serves as the coordinator.
Students and community members at all levels of proficiency

Students and faculty also have plans to also establish
German, Swahili, and Latin workshops. For more information
