Dr. John R. Wright, Dean and Professor of USM's School
of Applied Science, Engineering, and Technology (ASET)
will be the featured speaker at the October 7th business
meeting of the Corporate Partners/L-A.
Dean Wright will discuss the future of the new Advanced
Technology Wing (currently under construction) of the John
Mitchell
Center on the Gorham campus and will also talk about the
various collaborations and articulation agreements ASET
has with the Maine Community College System.
Corporate Partners/L-A is a collaborative organization
of the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce and local business
leaders
committed to supporting Central Maine Community College
and the University of Southern Maine/L-A. Corporate Partners
believe that public higher educational institutions play
a key role in building and sustaining a vibrant community.
The meeting will be held Thursday, October 7, 7:30 a.m.
at USM/L-A College on Westminster Street in Lewiston. Continental
breakfast will be served. Anyone interested in learning more
