L-A College to Host Literary Coffeehouse
Sneakers, Stilettos, & Steeltoes, the undergraduate
literary magazine at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College (LAC),
is pleased to announce its third Coffeehouse/Open Microphone
Night to be held October 28. Karen Hall, the Writing Center
Coordinator at LAC, promises an interesting and fun evening
of poetry, story, and of course, coffee. All students at LAC
are invited to share some of their literary work at this event.
Some of those participating have had work published in previous
issues of the literary magazine. All creative work published
in “Sneakers . . “ must be the original unpublished
work of a USM or UMA student enrolled at LAC.
This Coffeehouse will be held Tuesday, October 28 at 6:30
p.m. in the function room at LAC. It is free of charge and
the public is encouraged to attend. Copies of past editions
of Sneakers, Stilettos & Steeltoes will be available for
