Legislative Candidate Forums at USM/L-A
October 2004
Citizens will have a chance to meet their
legislative candidates next week when students at USM's
Lewiston-Auburn College host
two legislative candidate forums. All candidates for the
State Legislature whose districts, either wholly or partially,
are in Androscoggin County have been invited to participate
in these events.
The forum for candidates for the Maine House
of Representatives will be held Monday, October 25, and
a State Senate candidates'
forum will follow on Thursday, October 28. Both events
will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m., with the forum
to follow at 7:00 p.m.
The forum will provide legislative candidates
an opportunity to discuss campaign issues with students
at the College and members
of the community. This is the seventh such event held at
USM/L-A and is open to the public. For more information,

Both events will be held in Room 170 at USM's
Lewiston-Auburn College, located at 51 Westminster Street
in Lewiston.
