On March 22, 2007, at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston Auburn campus, a Teach-in for Peace and Action, entitled “Every Voice Counts” will be held from 2:45-6:30 pm.
The Teach-in is aimed to build greater understanding, foster dialogue, and inspire constructive action regarding the war in Iraq. What do we know about the impact of the war on the people of Iraq? Iran? What has been the experience of Americans in Iraq? How has religion played a role in this war? What are the political and constitutional implications of the War on Terror? What has been the impact on our civil liberties? What parallels may or may not exist with Viet Nam?
